Establishing classroom
procedures and routines helps to optimize time for instruction and allows the
learning environment to operate efficiently. Students and teachers need to have
procedures for everything, based on the needs of the particular class.
Begin this assignment
by identifying a class of student in terms of grade level 1-8 and number of
students in the class. Select 10 procedures from the list below and describe
your expectations and processes for each procedure, as well as how and when you
would teach the procedure to your class.

Select 3 of the 10
procedures described that may need to be adapted to students who have diverse
needs. Describe an example of a diverse need that would warrant an adaptation
and how the procedure could be adapted.
While this is not an
essay, your combined response to both prompts
should be in one submission that is between 1,250-1,500-words and should
include 3-5 citations for articles and texts you used to develop your
procedures and adaptations.
Prepare this
